👕 What do you think, are football shirt prices too damn high?
Because production cost is not the only cost that matters lol
in my country they are 600 denars like 10 euros
Please use currencies that exist around the 70s 80s 90s, there was no euro, so your examples could be easily misunderstood as selfcreated with no research intended
If you really want to save just wait for the new release and get the older model…a 90 dollar shirt will go for 30-60 dollars
laugh in Thailand fake replica jersey
YOU TALKED ABOUT PALERMO MY TEAM💗🖤
I don't like the logic used for the retailer. Does that mean all t-shirts are meant to cost 40 euros?
Hmmm…in my experience they’ve always been pretty expensive. At least in the US. It was hard to get jerseys because there was no real market and demand was limited to those small soccer loving populations, so everything was imported. I’m talking since the mid 90’s. Even after the US World Cup.
And soccer specialty stores were limited. Being of Mexican descent I grew up watching the Mexican league and again, those jerseys were imported and were always between $70 and $90 USD. MLS eventually emerged and they were also in the same range. I recall my parents not being able to afford them and if I ever did jet a jersey I would feel guilty. I got a Mexico ABA Sport jersey from 1996, right before the legendary 98 jersey. I regret not getting that 98 one now. But like I mentioned, the imports were expensive and so were the MLS ones. I also didn’t get the first LA Galaxy jersey because of the price.
Eventually the market for soccer in the US grew and you would eventually have the chance of getting a previous season’s kit for $45 USD.
Either way the story of soccer jerseys around the world is interesting. Awesome video.
Not convinced
Its not called original or replica. They are called player version and regular version. Replicas are what you buy of aliexpress for fraction of money.
In other words, this video applies to any similar goods being sold.
How are shirts different than Nike shoes? 🙃
Whatever. Everything reminds us of experiences. Thanks Red Bull and Mercedes.

4:44 that is the most elegant way of telling me I'm fat that I've ever seen 🤣
The players don't wear the "authentic", this is a bullshit. They wear a specific version not for selling.
This Is reasonable price buying jersey is not a shirt it's buying shirt with emotion
Not buying it. The shirts are free marketing. Don't give the insurance bullshit.
Yes but what about the football shirts for kids that cost 3 to 4 times lower but the product used isnt 3 times less? How do they manage to make a profit?
made for $8? try .25 cents lmao.
Why Are Football Shirts So Expensive? Because there are people willing to pay for them.
Bro what are you talking about? Burnley sells theirs for like $55 which would mean their losing money here. Shipping and taxes are often added on AFTER checking out, so you’re always paying more than what the retail price is
So thats why they make the shirts in south asia, low manufacturing costs and a lot of more money in their pockets.
Then how can you explain the clubs that offer cheaper shirts from the same factories but without the adidas logo? This video is bullshit
This video was bought no questions
👍👍
Because teams need to get those billions to pay overpriced players from somewhere, so they scam you into buying overpriced pieces of colored fabric
How come we don't wanna boycott western companies for using sweatshop labour but football fans are up in arms about Qatar
Is it only ok if it's the Europeans using slave labour
Kit is for players, supporters don’t need to buy kit, simple solution to the expense
Except you didn't account for the fact that wages are miles behind inflation, so we are paying more, we have less.
